Bell Cottages

Bell Cottages, Beltring

This was a pair of cottages built around 1860. It was listed as Grade II in 1983 for its general historical interest. The bell was erected as a fire alarm to call workers from the hop fields to the extensive oasthouse complex at Beltring Hop Farm.

The cottages can be seen near the roundabout opposite the entrance to the Hop Farm Paddock Wood
